Moments in Focus: A Photographic Journey

The photo was captured from the JH Garden Cafe located at 3rd-floor building on Quezon Boulevard, Davao City. This photo is captured from a perspective where the light source is positioned at the left side of the photo and the café shop imbues the space with a warm and inviting ambiance, enhancing its charm and character.

On the dim night of Roxas Street, the streets are bathed in the soft and golden glow of streetlights. The light of the streets imparts a sense of activity and vibrancy to the scene.

The photo is also taken from the Roxas Street food. The Barbecue meat takes center stage, The smoke creates a hazy atmosphere, casting a veil over the scene and infusing it with a sense of rustic charm. The photo captures the essence of the barbecue experience, where the sights, sounds, and smells of outdoor cooking come together to create a memorable and enjoyable occasion.

In the rule of thirds photo featuring students sitting on the stairs, the composition adheres to the principle of dividing the image into a grid of nine equal parts. The staircase, along with the students, is strategically positioned along one of the imaginary gridlines or at an intersection point, rather than being centered within the frame.The students' placement along the gridline or at an intersection point not only adds interest to the composition but also enhances the storytelling aspect of the photo. As I stood along the banks of the Gravahan River, patiently awaiting the arrival of the next boat, nature treated me to a mesmerizing display of sunset brilliance. The sky above transformed into a canvas of vivid hues, painting strokes of yellow, orange, and blue across the horizon. Each passing moment brought a new burst of color, casting a warm glow upon the tranquil waters below. As the sun dipped lower, its reflection danced upon the surface of the river, creating a symphony of light and shadow. In that fleeting moment, amidst the hustle and bustle of river life, I found myself entranced by the serene beauty unfolding before me. It was a reminder of the simple yet profound wonders that grace our everyday lives, infusing each moment with a sense of magic and wonder.

Inspiring scenery: A photograph of different attraction

Butterfly is one of the most beautiful kind of animals living here on earth. I captured this during our educational tour in Malagos Garden Resort around 4 in the afternoon. I was really happy when I shoot the exact moment where the butterfly lay on the flower. I focused my camera to my subject to make it more clear and to adjust the quality of light.

Taking picture is one of my hobby especially if I saw a perfect and nice attraction that caught my attention. This is in coastal road, around 4 in the afternoon. These landscape was amazing and having this good structure is the reason why people love to visit here and to take some picture.

One of the monuments here in Calinan is the statue of Datu Abing, the first original leader of Bagobo Tribe. I took this picture around 5 in the morning while catching the right angle where no one is roaming on the street. Though the quality of light is dull but the main focused there is the statue. It gives more significance especially to the people.

A simple yet remarkable is what I can say in this small church inside UM-Matina Campus. A perfect angle where I captured the church and at the same time the trees and flowers. This is one of my most favorite picture that I took in UM while going to mini forest. This is around 1 in the afternoon and there is something that make me urge to take a picture of this beautiful landscape. This church is used during special events or to conducting mass during special occasion.

Being a student, part of us is to take public transportation everyday. This photo is where I ride an L3 from Calinan going to UM. I catch the moment where the sun is rising. It is quarter to five, I need to be early this time because I have a morning class, exactly 7 in the morning.I love the beautiful scenery and my main focused there is the yellow-orange light coming from the sun. I adjust the lighting of the background which I make it more dark to have a good combination of colors.

You'll see familiar faces every time. For a mere four pesos, crossing the river becomes a seamless experience, woven into the fabric of daily life. Standing and waiting for the boat from the other side wound 4pm -6pm, it will shower you with a view of a vibrant and beautiful sunset.

As a dreamer who had long harbored the dream of stepping foot inside one of the opulent hotels, the experience of finally visiting Okada Manila was nothing short of mesmerizing.
